The Opportunity
Join Transgrid’s Corporate Finance team and help shape Australia’s clean energy future.
We’re seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Finance to play a key role in driving long-term financial strategy and providing insights that inform decisions at the highest level. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director, you’ll manage Transgrid’s Corporate Valuation Model, a critical tool that supports corporate valuation, major project analysis, and business planning for our Board, Executive Leadership Team and securityholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Corporate Valuation Model
- Deliver financial analysis for major projects and strategic initiatives
- Support long-term planning, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Provide financial insights to executives, the Board, and securityholders
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders on valuations, transactions, and regulatory matters
This role combines analytical depth with strategic influence — offering the chance to directly contribute to Australia’s energy transformation.
About You
You’re a commercially minded and detail-oriented finance professional with:
- Expertise in financial modelling and complex valuation models
- Experience in corporate valuation, due diligence, business planning, and infrastructure transactions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and the energy, infrastructure, or utilities sectors (preferred)
- A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or finance
