The Opportunity
Be part of an organisation delivering nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for future generations.
Transgrid is seeking an experienced and driven Corporate Finance Analyst to play a key role in strengthening our financial decision-making capabilities.
In this role, you will lead the development of robust investment papers and optimise our financial modelling framework to enable consistent and accurate evaluation of strategic scenarios. Your work will directly support high-impact decisions across the business, helping to shape the future of Australia’s energy infrastructure.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess some or all of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- CFA Level I/II or CPA is a plus
- 5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, or consulting
- Experienced in complex financial modeling, budgeting, or valuation
- Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Experience with tools like PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, or financial systems
- Understanding of financial statements, corporate valuation, and forecasting
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly
- Problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement abilities
