The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Contracts Administrator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for contract management in major infrastructure projects? Transgrid is looking for a dedicated professional to support our Project Team in ensuring smooth contract operations.
As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in managing the contract lifecycle, working closely with Procurement, Project Managers, Engineers, and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution. You will be responsible for supporting contract management activities within the Transgrid Project Team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role ensures the smooth operation of the contract cycle for project delivery and collaborates with various teams
A Day in the Life as a Contracts Administrator at Transgrid
• Managing and tracking contract notices, claims, variations, and schedules.
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of project reports, contracts, and correspondence.
• Maintaining contract registers and ensuring compliance with document control standards.
• Supporting financial tracking, program reporting, and contract-related KPIs.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance contract processes and efficiency.
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
About You
• Proven experience in contract and/or construction project administration.
• Strong proficiency in document management systems and MS Office Suite (SharePoint/InEight/Teambinder preferred).
• Exceptional time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a drive for process improvement and efficiency.
