About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Connections Operations Engineer to support the efficient operation of Lumea’s Direct Connection Assets and provide technical, operational, and maintenance support to our customers. You will play a key role across the asset lifecycle, including handover, commissioning, maintenance, incident response, and asset optimisation.
This customer-facing role requires strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About You
You are a technically skilled engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in transmission, distribution, or large-scale energy infrastructure
- Strong understanding of asset operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management
- Ability to coordinate technical reviews, maintenance tasks, and incident response
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and regulatory compliance processes
Desirable:
- Experience with outage coordination and network improvement initiatives (e.g., Transfer Tripping Schemes)
- Knowledge of substation and line construction
- Exposure to business case development and operational performance tracking
- Background in Power Systems Engineering or trade (Electrical or Mechanical)
