Shape Australia’s energy future, together.
For 70 years, we’ve kept communities connected to the electricity they rely on every hour, every day. As the operator of the high-voltage transmission network powering NSW and the ACT, we play a vital role in delivering safe, reliable, and affordable energy to millions of Australians.
Today, we work with communities, customers and partners to maintain a grid Australia can count on, and build one that’s ready for more renewables, more resilience and more opportunity. Together, we’re shaping a grid that supports a cleaner, more connected energy future.
Now, we’re looking for a Brand Communications Lead to help bring this vision to life.
The Opportunity
This is more than a design or copywriting role. As Brand Communications Lead, you’ll be the strategic force behind how Transgrid’s brand is expressed, visually and verbally, across every touchpoint. You’re not just a communicator; you’re a brand builder.
You’ll work closely with our creative team and communications teams, guiding the application of our brand voice, codes, and identity in everything from major campaigns to internal communications, as well as community and customer engagement. You’ll be a champion for our brand voice and identity, ensuring every message is clear, consistent, and impactful.
About the role
- Apply and evolve Transgrid’s brand strategy, voice, and design system across all communications.
- Develop and deliver high-impact, audience-led brand communications that build brand trust and engagement.
- Guide and maintain our brand communications toolkit, including brand guidelines, templates, copy standards, and assets.
- Write, edit, and refine copy that’s on-brand, audience-focused, and clear.
- Mentor and collaborate with designers and communicators, lifting capability and creativity.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and champion best practice in brand communications
