Now, we’re looking for a Brand Communications Lead to help bring this vision to life.
The Opportunity
This role is for a brand communicator with deep experience.
As Brand Communications Lead, you will be responsible for how the Transgrid brand is understood, applied and executed across communications, content and creative. You will take brand strategy and translate it into clear, consistent and compelling real‑world outputs.
You will work hands‑on with designers, agencies, stakeholders and communications team members to ensure everything we produce reflects our brand, voice and audience. You will also play a key role in uplifting brand capability across the organisation.
This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, creative execution and strategic implementation
About the role

Lead the implementation of the Transgrid brand across content, creative and campaigns

Translate the brand strategy into campaigns, creative briefs, content and marketing assets

Lead and apply brand voice, including writing and editing marketing and other brand-led copy

Coach and influence stakeholders when supplied copy or creative is not on brand and help reshape it so it lands as intended

Work closely with designers, providing clear, constructive feedback grounded in brand, audience and strategy

Mentor designers and help build brand capability within the design team

Brief and guide agencies to produce onbrand creative and content, and review their output

Partner with internal communications teams to uplift understanding and execution of the brand
About you

- Strong, demonstrated experience leading and implementing brand throughout your career
- A deep understanding of brand strategy and how it translates into execution
- Proven experience working closely with graphic designers and agencies
- Strong capability in brand voice, tone and messaging, including how voice flexes for different audiences and channels
- Confidence writing and editing marketing copy, and coaching others to improve theirs
- The ability to connect strategy, brand and audience to practical outputs such as campaigns, briefs and content
- A collaborative, confident and practical working style
