About the Role
As our Biodiversity Business Partner, you will be part of the HumeLink Environment and Sustainability team, providing expert support to manage biodiversity risks and deliver best practice environmental outcomes. You’ll contribute to compliance with the Biodiversity Management Plan, oversee data collection and analysis, and support the delivery of the Biodiversity Offset Package (BOP). Your work will shape how construction and operations manage biodiversity impacts across some of NSW’s most significant energy corridors.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related field, with a solid understanding of biodiversity risks linked to large-scale or linear infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in biodiversity surveys, monitoring and management in NSW regulatory contexts
- Advanced GIS capability, with demonstrated experience managing and interpreting spatial data for compliance and reporting purposes
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills, including the ability to provide technical advice, write clear reports, and collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulators
- Willingness to travel, with flexibility to visit regional and remote project sites across NSW for inspections, surveys, and biodiversity assurance activities.
