The Opportunity
Join Transgrid and help deliver renewable energy projects that will power Australia’s future. As part of our Environmental Strategy & Planning team, you’ll play a key role in supporting biodiversity outcomes across major infrastructure projects.
As a Biodiversity Advisor, you will:
- Support biodiversity assessments and approvals across projects
- Provide specialist advice, including for EIS assessments
- Help manage environmental risks and ensure compliance
- Engage with stakeholders including communities, government and Traditional Owners
About You
You’re passionate about biodiversity and enjoy a mix of field and office-based work. You bring:
- Qualifications in ecology, environmental science (or similar) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme (BOS)
- Experience in biodiversity surveys and GIS
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within NSW
Desirable:
- Experience with biodiversity impact assessments and BDARs in NSW
- BAM accreditation
