The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Partner – Technology & Transformation to join our growing Technology & Transformation team.
In this role, you will act as a key link between Technology and the broader Transgrid business, supporting the safe and reliable operation of the NSW and ACT high-voltage transmission network. You will ensure technology strategy and planning align with organisational priorities, regulatory commitments and operational needs.
As a trusted advisor, you will translate business strategy into technology requirements and work closely with Strategy, Architecture and Commercial teams to shape the multi-year technology roadmap. You will also provide visibility of project progress and technology service performance, delivering insights across areas such as licence utilisation, service desk trends and incident management.
This role plays an important part in ensuring technology investments and services support Transgrid’s mission to deliver safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity, while supporting Australia’s transition to renewable energy.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Significant experience in business partnering, operational management or technology delivery, ideally within complex or regulated environments
- Strong understanding of technology operations, including service performance, incident and problem management, and licence or asset management
- Ability to think strategically, analyse complex information and contribute to long-term technology planning and investment decisions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, negotiate outcomes and collaborate across functions
- A proactive mindset with strong follow-through and commitment to continuous improvement
