The Opportunity
 

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Environment and Sustainability team in managing Environmental Approval documentation and compliance activities.

 

You will be leading the management and co-ordination of all documentation related to the Critical State Significant Infrastructure Approval and EPBC Approval.

 

You will provide significant support with preparation of correspondence with external regulators and lead the management of improvements to project systems relating to the Infrastructure Approval conditions.

 

About You

 

  • Ideally you will be Degree qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Significant experience (10+ years) in Environmental Management, Construction Delivery Approvals or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental compliance risks associated with electricity networks or similar linear infrastructure.
  • A current driver licence.
  • Extensive experience in managing documentation relating to compliance or systems.
  • You will need to be prepared to travel within the state of NSW (and potentially interstate) to attend site meetings and carry out inspection activities on the project’s various sites. In some instances, this will involve staying overnight at regional locations within NSW.
