The Opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the HumeLink project team as a Quality Engineer and be responsible for ensuring seamless implementation of Transgrid’s quality management systems on HumeLink project.

 

This role involves close collaboration with project teams, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with Trangrid’s quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) standards, as well as industry standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Additionally, the role will support the quality monitoring, inspections, and auditing processes to ensure the successful, high-quality delivery of critical transmission infrastructure projects.

 

The nature of these roles will require frequent travel of 2 to 3 days per fortnight to our project offices. HumeLink East will include Tumut, Yass and Goulburn and HumeLink West will include Wagga Wagga. (Details of which will be discussed during the interview process).

 

About You

 

  • Tertiary qualification in either engineering, construction management, or quality control
  • Experience working in infrastructure and/or energy related industry
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in large scale construction projects
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality control area
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Experience in writing formal reports, preparing and delivering presentation to internal and external teams at various levels
