The Opportunity

 

We currently have an opportunity for a capable and proactive Workplace Services Coordinator to join our team. In addition to front-of-house responsibilities, you will provide administrative support delivering high quality, timely services including, reception services and office administration support.

 

Additional responsibilities include overseeing the distribution of mail deliveries, servicing both internal and external including couriers and collections. You will also be responsible for issuing and maintaining the security keys and cards system.

 

Please note, this is a part-time (4 days per week) opportunity, based in our Tamworth office.

 

What you will be involved in:

 

  • Manage visitor access, site security, and switchboard operations across office and depot environments.
  • Coordinate and respond to property maintenance requests.
  • Assist in the delivery of WHS-aligned emergency plans and hazard monitoring.
  • Deliver a range of administrative services including meeting support, document control, travel booking, and database updates.
  • Collaborate with Transgrid teams and external vendors to maintain site standards and service levels.

 

About You

 

You are an organised and proactive professional with experience in workplace coordination/administration, executive support or reception/FOH within a corporate, government or regulated setting.

 

Your approach is collaborative, and you’re known for staying composed and solutions-focused when juggling competing demands.

 

You will also bring:

 

  • A warm, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of office operations.
  • Thorough knowledge at a general user level of Microsoft Office
  • Ability and willingness to develop and learn corporate systems and new skills as required for the role.
  • Ability to operate typical office equipment such as printers, photocopiers, and binding machines.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise with team members, Managers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
