About Us

At Transgrid, our work improves the lives of millions – from lighting up sports fields, schools and homes, to powering the wheels of commerce and everything else in between. Now it’s your turn to make it happen.

This is an exciting time in the energy industry with the transition to renewable energy. Recent government policy documents outline plans to facilitate increasing transmission interconnection between states and development of renewable energy zones.

The Opportunity

In your new role, you will play a key part in supporting maintenance operations and ensuring seamless delivery of internal work requests (IWR) and procurement activities. You’ll manage the end-to-end IWR process from initiation to closure while monitoring progress, creating work orders, and reporting outcomes.

Alongside this, you’ll assist with procurement tasks such as invoice costing and contract management, and provide technical and administrative support across maintenance streams, substations, transmission lines, cables, and digital systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HV networks and asset management, be highly self-motivated, and demonstrate the ability to manage complex IWR processes and procurement activities while communicating effectively across diverse teams.

About You

  • Skilled in using Maximo and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while communicating effectively across teams.
  • Comfortable managing fluctuating, ad-hoc tasks and interpreting technical requirements.
  • Experience in procurement activities and reporting, with attention to compliance and detail.
