The Opportunity | All NSW - Sydney, Newcastle, Orange, Yass, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth & Regional NSW

We’re seeking experienced Site Managers and Senior Site Managers to lead the delivery of high-voltage infrastructure projects across NSW. Spanning Substations, Transmission Lines, and broader HV construction.

In these hands-on leadership roles, you’ll coordinate on-site activities, oversee contractors, and ensure all construction and commissioning work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. You’ll be the link between project management, engineering, and the delivery workforce.  Solving challenges in real time and upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

A typical day could include:

• Leading daily pre-starts and toolbox talks
• Monitoring progress and contractor performance
• Reviewing designs, ITPs, and commissioning checklists
• Managing WHS and environmental compliance
• Reporting progress, resolving technical issues, and ensuring documentation accuracy

Every project is different, but what remains constant is your role in ensuring that critical infrastructure is built safely, efficiently, and with pride.

About You

You’re an organised, practical, and safety-driven construction leader who thrives in complex infrastructure environments. You take ownership, lead by example, and inspire those around you to deliver exceptional work safely and collaboratively.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in HV substation, transmission line, or major electrical construction projects
• Trade qualification, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Project Management
• Strong working knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation
• Experience managing contractors and multiple concurrent work fronts
• Solid stakeholder and communication skills across all levels
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between Transgrid depots and project sites statewide
