About the opportunity

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join Project EnergyConnect (PEC) as a Senior Project Manager – Project Controls, on a 12 month contract.  

 

You’ll be responsible for the implementation of fit for Project Controls process and systems required to support the Project Controls workstream. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will have responsibility for the management and compliance to the corporate Project Management Frameworks (PMF) and will work closely with the project leads, and wider Business Units to deliver functional excellence.

Occasional travel will be required for the role.

 

About you

 

This role will require a highly organised person to lead the implementation of Project EnergyConnect whole of project Governance & Assurance requirements throughout all project phases with a specific focus on risk management, change management, lessons learnt and reporting.

 

  • Extensive experience as a project/program manager or proven equivalent experience
  • Qualifications in project management (advanced diploma desirable)
  • Proven commercial acumen and excellent communications skills
  • Experience in delivering high voltage electricity transmission network infrastructure projects (experience is desirable)
  • Extensive Industry experience in the planning, development and delivery of large programs of work
  • Extensive experience in directing project teams across a range of projects
  • Extensive experience in the areas of Risk, Quality Assurance & Analytics
  • Highly skilled in in negotiating project scope, cost, schedule and risk with contractors
