About the opportunity
You’ll be joining an exciting and growing team at Transgrid, which oversee $80m - $500m projects. In this role, you will take on a key position within one of projects, shaping its commercial success and ensuring it aligns with our corporate strategy.
Overseeing the project's commercial aspects, you’ll ensure the project achieves its objectives and strategic goals. A key responsibility is building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders, including delivery partners, suppliers, regulators, government agencies, and internal teams, to support the project's success.
You will also lead the development of procurement and delivery strategies, as well as create and implement effective commercial management mechanisms. Working closely with the procurement team to develop and negotiate contracts that align with the project's needs.
About you
- Proven track record in delivering infrastructure projects or programs of works and achieving outstanding commercial outcomes
- Proven capability to manage a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve contractual performance
- Ability to make effective commercial decisions which preserve value and are assessed against defined corporate objectives
- Experience in leading Financial, Procurement and Contract Management teams
- Excellent influencing skills and the proven ability to build effective interpersonal relationships
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline such as engineering or business
