The Opportunity 

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be at the forefront of Transgrid’s Hunter Transmission Project as a Senior Contract Manager.  

You will champion the contract cycle from project development to delivery, leading a talented team to ensure robust contract management and commercial success.  

Day in the Life 

• Ensure all agreements are legally and commercially aligned and provide expert recommendations to senior management 

• Advocate for effective cost and revenue strategies across the team, track variations against funding, escalate potential overspends and oversee the resolution of disputes  

• Manage the financial position of multiple contracts and develop comprehensive contract management plans that’d directly ensure the Hunter Transmission Project’s success 

The value you will bring: 

• Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline and experience in managing large construction contracts 

• Knowledge in tendering and evaluations and ability to develop sturdy relationships internal and external relationships 

• Proven strong commercial background, negotiation skills and analytical skills 

• Highly proficient in the use of business systems, including MS Office
