About the Role
As the Reporting Analyst within the Major Projects PMO, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy and reliability of portfolio reporting. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, build scalable datasets, support automated reporting, and respond to evolving project requirements with agility and precision. This role works across cost, schedule and risk data structures, ensuring data integrity and enabling insightful analytics that support executive decision-making. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, enhancing reporting tools and contributing to continuous improvement within a fast-paced PMO environment. The position will be based in Ultimo, Sydney, with hybrid working arrangements.
About You
You’re analytical, curious, detail-driven and enjoy transforming raw data into meaningful insights. You’re comfortable working across multiple datasets and systems, and you enjoy building dashboards and improving reporting processes. Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience delivering dashboards or reporting solutions using Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and interpret complex project data
- Confidence working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple systems (e.g., P6, EcoSys, SAP, CAMMs, Salesforce, Excel)
- Experience delivering monthly reporting cycles or portfolio reporting in a project environment
- Strong capability in Excel (including VBA) and advanced proficiency across MS Office.
