The Opportunity

 

Be part of an organisation delivering nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for future generations.

 

Due to growth in our business we are now looking for a regulatory officer to join our team. We are looking for someone on a part time basis, working at a minimum 2 days but can also be 3 days.  The role will support support the Regulation team in complying with the Australian Energy Regulator’s (AER) requirements associated with the Regulatory Investment Test for Transmission (RIT-T).

 

This position will support the analysis and regulatory process through effective coordination, documentation, and development of regulatory reports. High-level attention to detail and communication skills (written and verbal) are central to the role.

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess some or all of the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline (such as communication, arts, or business) and/or equivalent experience (3-5 years).
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills to assess how RIT-T documents may impact members of the public, consumers or industry stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating technical information to make it more accessible for non-technical audiences (does not need to be specific to the energy industry).
  • Integrity and commitment to ethical practice, equity, and diversity.
