Portfolio Risk Manager

About the role
As the Portfolio Risk Manager, you will lead the development and application of a consistent, portfolio-level risk management framework to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery. Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Lead, the role provides oversight of risk identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting across the portfolio, working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to surface insights, manage emerging risks and strengthen governance. The role is based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements.
About you
You are an experienced risk professional who brings a structured and proactive approach to managing risk in complex delivery environments. You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, facilitating risk discussions, and translating technical analysis into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in portfolio or program risk management within large-scale infrastructure or regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and quantitative and qualitative risk analysis techniques
- Experience leading risk workshops and developing practical mitigation and contingency strategies
- Ability to produce clear, concise risk reporting for senior leaders and governance forums
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative working style.
