The Opportunity 

 

This is a rewarding opportunity for you to manage document control and security within Transgrid’s emerging Hunter Transmission Project as a Document Controller.  

You will balance competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service to the project team and stakeholders. While collaborating with internal and external teams, especially audit and regulatory departments, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of all documentation throughout the project that will bring Australia closer to a clean energy future. 

 

Day in the Life  

 

  • Oversee the establishment, maintenance, and enforcement of document control systems 

  • Ensure proper version control, file storage, and security across platforms such as SharePoint, InEight Doc, and HP TRIM.  

  • Engage in managing and processing regulatory documentation, maintaining project registers, and ensuring the documents’ compliance with Transgrid’s audit, regulatory, storage and archiving requirements. 

 

The value you will bring: 

 

  • Relevant diploma or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant knowledge and competence gained through experience  

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment 

  • Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate document control and information systems i.e. Ellipse, InEight Doc and PC software i.e. Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint  

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with all members of the project team, customers and stakeholders at all levels 

  • A current Australian driver’s licence
