Customer Enablement Specialist

The Customer Enablement Specialist will lead the end-to-end customer experience across the connection lifecycle, ensuring customers are supported from initial enquiry through to commissioning, operational release and ongoing optimisation.
The role represents the voice of the customer within the business, building trusted relationships and proactively advocating for customer needs to deliver successful outcomes.
This role will coordinate and influence cross-functional teams to reduce complexity, remove barriers and create a seamless customer journey, leveraging customer insights, industry knowledge and commercial acumen to identify opportunities that enhance customer value and improve business performance.
As a strategic customer partner, the role will contribute to strengthening customer satisfaction, accelerating delivery outcomes and supporting Australia's energy transition.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic account management, customer relationship management or a similar role, with a proven ability to build trusted, long term stakeholder relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the electricity industry, including transmission network connections, renewable energy projects and the end-to-end connection lifecycle.
- A sound understanding of the National Electricity Rules and their application across connection enquiries, applications, commissioning and operational release.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organisational levels, including senior leaders and executives.
- The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and specialist teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes, supported by strong commercial judgement and experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
