About the opportunity

 

You’ll be joining an exciting and growing team at Transgrid, which oversee $80m - $500m projects. As the Contracts Administrator you will assist with administrative tasks related to Contracts   Management activities within one of the project teams, and manage the operation of the contract cycle from a project delivery perspective.

 

  • Work closely with Procurement, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Schedule & Risk team, Project Controllers and external contractors to ensure sound contract management of all Transgrid’s project delivery contracts.
  • Prepare contractual notice templates on the commencement of projects and contracts.
  • Record and update all notices, claims, and schedules that have been submitted (or will be submitted).
  • Ensure maintenance and housekeeping of contract notices, claims and program schedules.
  • Assist the Contract Managers in the preparation of Contract Commercial Manual, and in the submission of notices, claims, schedules and documents.
  • Prepare and draft correspondence on behalf of the Contract Managers to both external and internal stakeholders.

 

About you

 

  • Proficiency and familiarity with a variety of document management systems
  • High level of diligence and accuracy with:
    • Tracking of allocated work for completion;
    • Document naming and filing protocols for files and email correspondence; and
    • Document control systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract and/or construction project administration roles
  • Proficiency in InEight / Teambinder systems preferred but not necessary
  • Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve deadlines and desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, with proven ability to adopt a pro-active stance towards business issues
