We're looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager (Infrastructure & Energy) to help identify, develop and progress strategic projects that support the energy transition and create long-term value for customers and communities.

This is an chance to work at the front end of major infrastructure projects and strategic opportunities —where strategy, commercial thinking, stakeholder engagement and project development come together to turn opportunities into successful outcomes.

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Projects, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing business cases, supporting major bids and transactions, and working with customers, partners and internal teams to shape and secure future projects.

What you'll be doing

As a Business Development Manager (Infrastructure & Energy), you'll be responsible for supporting the growth and development of Lumea's strategic project pipeline by:

• Identifying and assessing strategic project opportunities aligned with business objectives.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Supporting the development of commercial strategies, business cases and project development plans.
• Coordinating technical, commercial, financial and delivery inputs across multidisciplinary teams.
• Developing client presentations, executive briefings and governance papers.
• Supporting negotiations, commercial discussions and project structuring activities.

About you

You're commercially curious, relationship-focused and motivated by identifying opportunities and turning them into tangible outcomes.

You'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience in business development, commercial, infrastructure, energy or project-related roles.
• Experience working on complex projects, bids, transactions or strategic initiatives.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience supporting the preparation of business cases, proposals, executive papers and presentations.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with financial modelling and scenario analysis experience highly regarded.
