The Opportunity
Shape Australia’s Clean Energy Future with Transgrid
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Land and Property to lead the strategic management of Transgrid’s property needs, from land access and acquisition to portfolio management and operational support.
You’ll oversee major project property requirements, ensuring best-practice processes for acquisition, land management, and network operations. You’ll also guide and support our acquisition and transactions teams through every stage of the project lifecycle.
This role involves working closely with communities, customers, government, and internal teams to deliver timely, practical, and commercially sound outcomes. Reporting to the GM of Strategic Property & Land Solutions, you’ll lead and develop a team of technical specialists and analysts.
We’re after someone with sharp business acumen, strategic thinking, and the agility to navigate shifting market, regulatory, and industry landscapes.
About You
You’re a people leader who inspires direction, drives results, and embraces change. You’re commercially minded, collaborative, and skilled at influencing and negotiating.
You bring:
- A degree in a property-related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in property acquisition and asset portfolio management
- Expertise in whole-of-life property strategies and property asset information systems
- Strong understanding of NSW and ACT property legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Financial acumen, including management accounting and analysis skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
