The Opportunity

 

We are seeking Project Manager for the Central West Orana NSW Project, based in Sydney or Newcastle. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting project delivery, collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive progress, ensure effective communication, maintain compliance, and achieve successful outcomes. The position also involves regular site visits and adherence to governance frameworks.

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Support project governance and quality, monitor health, safety, and environment standards, and improve quality practices across all workstreams
  • Manage and deliver project reporting, planning, and regulatory requirements, providing timely advice and information to support achievement of project objectives and meet KPIs
  • Coordinate and manage stakeholder and third-party interactions, developing strong collaborative relationships
  • Support contract management by assisting with negotiations, monitoring contractor performance, and managing contract risks and liabilities

 

About You

 

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in engineering or relevant discipline with experience in the design, construction, and management of large, complex infrastructure projects
  • Experience in managing large capital High Voltage Substations Projects
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Government policy guidelines that govern safety, engineering design, environmental assessment for major engineering projects
  • High standard of communication and report writing skills, personal integrity, and professionalism
  • A current Driver’s Licence
