The Opportunity

 

Join our Network Operations team as a Planning Officer and play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our high-voltage network. This is your chance to make a real impact in the clean energy industry while working on some of the most complex and essential infrastructure in the country.

 

In this role, you’ll facilitate safe access for maintenance, asset replacement, and construction activities across the network. You’ll review outage and construction plans, assess network impacts, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and timely outcomes.

 

What You Will Be Doing

 

  • Review and assess outage plans, ensuring compliance and minimal impact on customers
  • Coordinate outages and resolve conflicts to maintain system security and reliability
  • Perform power system studies and prepare contingency plans
  • Facilitate safe access to high-voltage apparatus for multiple work parties
  • Prepare and issue outage plans to customers and stakeholders
  • Maintain and update operating documentation, manuals, and planning tools

 

About You

 

You’re detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You bring:

 

  • Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of high-voltage transmission networks, control, protection, and communication systems
  • Experience working on or facilitating safe access to high or low voltage equipment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications
