The Opportunity 

 

As a Field Coordinator at Transgrid, you’ll lead the safe and efficient delivery of work across high-voltage transmission lines. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside your team to solve complex technical challenges, mentor others, and make real-time decisions that directly impact the reliability of Australia’s energy network. 

 

Supported by experienced planners and engineers, you’ll play a key role in responding to urgent outages, overseeing critical upgrades, and driving continuous improvement across our delivery programs. Your leadership will help shape team culture and strengthen the infrastructure powering our future.

About You  

 

  • Electrical trade qualification in Distribution or Transmission, with extensive experience in the electrical industry, ideally focused on high-voltage systems. 
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills in field environments. 
  • Strong safety mindset and working knowledge of high-voltage transmission systems. 
  • Comfortable using ERP tools, Excel, and Power BI for reporting and analysis. 
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
