About the Role
As a Design Engineer, you will support the development, coordination, and delivery of engineering designs across major transmission line infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders, you will contribute to technically robust, compliant, and fit-for-purpose design outcomes that align with project objectives, technical standards, safety requirements, and delivery schedules.
This role will support design integration activities, assist with technical documentation and specifications, and contribute to resolving engineering and design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in engineering design within major infrastructure, utilities, transmission, energy, or construction project environments
- Experience supporting the development and review of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation
Understanding of transmission line, civil, structural, or electrical engineering principles within large-scale infrastructure projects - Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support successful project outcomes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.
