The Opportunity

 

We are looking for a Field Systems Administrator to join our Field Systems team at Wallgrove or Newcastle on an initial 6‑month secondment, with potential to extend. In this role, you will support the administration, configuration and continuous improvement of key field systems, ensuring data integrity, process consistency and reliable system performance.

 

You will work closely with the Field Systems Lead, system users and business stakeholders to provide technical advice, support system upgrades, maintain reporting accuracy and deliver training. Your work will help ensure our field teams have the tools and information they need to operate safely and efficiently.

About You

 

You are analytical, proactive and comfortable working with people, systems and data. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively and take pride in delivering highquality work. You are inquisitive, want to learn and you are not afraid to ask questions when things just don’t look right.

 

You will also bring:

 

    • Tertiary qualifications in business, systems, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

 

    • Experience in system administration, support and data analysis

 

    • Knowledge of Pegasus / Avetta, Maximo, HRIS, TRAC, or similar systems

 

    • Strong data mapping, data migration and advanced MS Excel skills

 

    • Experience preparing and presenting reporting information

 

    • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and training delivery skills

 

    • Experience in contractor management systems including maintaining worker profiles, roles and competencies.

 

    • Desirable: Understanding of Transgrid Power Systems Safety Rules (or similar) and worker compliance.
